Height
KLAAS is the world's first producer able to manufacture furniture lifts up to a height of 64 metres due to the strong profiles of their rails.

Safety and Reliability ...
... are seriously taken into account by KLAAS technology. For example the double winch and double cylinders for the rails, strong hydraulic stabilizers and strong rail profiles are used in almost all models of the product range, even on trailers. The hydraulically driven rotating assemblies provide major assembly security.

Light and stable construction
The material of many accessories is a special and very resistent aluminium alloy. Other accessories are, where necessary, made from steel. That's why KLAAS furniture lifts are very light as well as stable and reliable. Furniture lifts that reach out very high can be mounted on relatively small vehicles or on light trailers, which don't need own brakes.

User frendliness
The remote control system for controlling platform start and stop functions is one of the good examples how to handle our furniture lifts in a user friendly way. Just fix the upper and lower start and stop position simply pressing a button. KLAAS has eliminated the rods for manually fixing the final start and stop position.

Detailed examples of KLAAS furniture lift technology

The two robust cylinders (instaed of one only), which support the rail package, provide a strong stability for the rails.

The double winch ensures the furniture lift's working reliability and security.
In the very exceptional case a steel rope tears the second steel rope still ensures the safety of the expanded rails.

Due to the compact rail package big heights can be reached although every single rail's length is fairly reduced. That's why the furniture lift occupies very small space when not working. The rail package contains between 5 and 11 rails depending on type and height of the lift.
The strong profiles reinforce the load capability working in big heights, also in extreme angles.

The rotating assemblies of all models of our product range can turn the rails 90° in both directions (left and right). This advantage is very important above all in narrow streets, moreover being one way streets, in which it is impossible to turn round the whole trailer.

Hydraulic stabilizer. The machine's stong and stable hydraulic stabilizers are lowered hydraulically and are extractable individually and hydraulically (as in case of the lift in the photo) or manually.

Platform protected with zinc coat against corrosion, pull-out, turnable 360° with hinged side panels thus facilitating the lifting and handling of very voluminous goods. The inclination can easily be adjusted with the crank.

		Photo above: Support for the platform: The inclination of the platform is adjusted by means of a jackscew (the lower one) with a crank thus making possible any desired working position without depending on locking pins. There's even the option to adjust the exact inclination with an additional second jackscrew (the upper one, as for example at the platform in this photo).
Photo above: The platform's turnable side panels are supported with strong props in any of their two working positions. As a result there's not only more working stability but also an extended service life of the side panels and their hinges. Even after many working hours the side panels do not exceed their defined lower working position.

Even for light and economic models of our product range the platform's turnable side panels are supported with smaller and lighter but also sophisticated, strong and robust props, which perfectly ensure the above mentioned properties.

Control of platform start and stop functions.

The upper and lower start and stop positions are simply fixed pressing a button. At these postions the platform stops automatically and smoothly.

The lift can be manipulated by means of the slide valves (the 4 levers). Nevertheless the usually better way is using the remote control during regular work (yellow/blue).

		The Honda-engine (in the middle), here covered with a silencer, is the propulsion of the strong and robust hydraulic system, which drives the lift. Almost all models offer the possibility of combining the Honda-engine with an electric engine (on the right) in order to always have the choice of using one of the two engines.
		As for the light models, version Luxus either an electric engine (photo) or a Honda-engine drives a complete hydraulic system.
		As for the light models, version Standard a first electric engine (bottom centre) drives the partial hydraulic system and subsequently the hydraulic cylinder en the rail winch (on the right and top on the right). A second electric engine (left and behind the first one) directly drives the car winch.
